Transient Computing Research Demoed at Arm Research Summit 2018

Researchers from the Arm-ECS Research Centre demonstrated their research on Transient Computing Systems at the Arm Research Summit 2018

A number of Transient, or Intermittent, Computing demos were given at the stand, from simple demonstrators of the core technology, through to application examples including a self-powered cycle computer powered from the rotation of the wheel, and a fitness monitor powered only by the pressure of the foot on the insole.

The demo was very popular with attendees, with significant and sustained interest across all three days of the technical programme.
