Michael joined Arm’s emerging IoT group in early 2017, shortly after completing his graduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. While attending an overseas embedded OS workshop, Michael helped architect what became one of the first end-to-end TinyML frameworks, uTensor, which led to him joining Arm Research in 2018. His current research interests include TinyML co-development optimization, securing software against emerging threats, and computer graphics.
