Arm-ECS PhD graduate Charan Vala accepts position at Arm

Congratulations to Arm-ECS PhD graduate Charan Vala, who has accepted a position as a GPU physical implementation (Graduate Engineer) at Arm in Cambridge, UK, where he will be working on the investigation into Physical implementation of Arm graphics processors, relying on the implementation flow from RTL through place and route to STA, while also pursuing complex challenges such as low power and methodologies for improving the efficiency of implementation.

Charan Vala’s PhD research focused on hardware design for Cyber-physical system (CPS) model identification using the estimation based multiple model adaptive control (EMMSAC) algorithm. His work on linear-time invariant (LTI) model identification architecture was published in Circuits and Systems (CAS) society. He was supervised by Prof. Mark French and Prof. Bashir Al-Hashimi.
