The Arm-ECS Research Centre (www.arm.ecs.soton.ac.uk) at the University of Southampton is always on the look-out for excellent applicants for PhD study. The Arm-ECS Research Centre was established in 2008, and is an award-winning research collaboration between the University and Arm. The PhD student will be based primarily at the University of Southampton, UK (but will also spend some time at Arm Research, Cambridge), and be supervised by researchers at both Arm and the University of Southampton. Applications can be received at any point in the year.

Candidates who already hold a source of funding and have, or expect to shortly attain, an excellent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline are encouraged to apply.
